SIKAFLEX Construction AP is a high-performance, single-component polyurethane sealant ideal for sealing movement and connection joints in construction. This moisture-curing, elastic joint sealant offers excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor applications. It’s specifically designed to withstand weathering and movement, making it suitable for use in facades, window frames, precast concrete panels, and more.

Key Features:

• Flexible and Durable: Movement capability of ± 25% (ASTM C 719), allowing for reliable performance in joints subject to expansion and contraction.
• Moisture-Curing: Forms a tough, flexible seal once cured, resistant to cracking and weather exposure.
• Non-Sag Formula: Ideal for vertical and horizontal applications, holding firm in place even on wide joints up to 30mm.
• Good Adhesion: Bonds effectively with materials such as concrete, brick, timber, and various metals, often without the need for primer.

Applications:

• Ideal for Sealing Joints: Suitable for movement and connection joints, construction joints, and isolation joints in building construction.
• Indoor and Outdoor Use: Excellent for sealing around window and door frames, facades, cladding, curtain walls, and expansion joints.
• Versatile Substrate Compatibility: Adheres well to cement-based materials, brick, ceramics, polyurethane, epoxy, most metals, and wood.

Technical Information:

• Skinning Time: Approx. 180 minutes at 23°C and 50% RH.
• Curing Rate: Approx. 3mm per 24 hours at 23°C and 50% RH.
• Yield: A 600ml sausage provides up to 24 linear meters with a 5mm x 5mm joint.
• Temperature Range: Service temperature from -40°C to +70°C.

Packaging and Storage: Available in 600ml sausage packs in multiple colors, including white, black, and concrete grey. Store in undamaged, original containers in a dry, moderate-temperature location, away from direct sunlight.
